In August 2023, the Government of Manitoba announced a $2 million investment to create the fund and the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce.

Indigenous Inclusion and Partnerships Fund

The Indigenous Inclusion and Partnerships Fund will be accessible to proponents of resource development projects and Indigenous communities.

Eligible activities include:

capacity to participate in initiatives such as collaborative monitoring,
impact assessment studies,
project site visits and other mitigation measures,
and including technical support.

Projects with total eligible expenses of up to $25,000 can receive up to 100 per cent of the eligible costs.

Projects with total eligible expenses greater than $25,000 can receive up to 50 per cent of eligible costs, to a maximum of $250,000.

The grant program will be administered by the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce.
