Alamos Gold And Northern Manitoba First Nation Launch Youth Development Project
MMDF contributed $15,500 to 7268425 Manitoba Ltd. for early exploration work at their site located about 50km south of Prawda, Manitoba. The project involved field work such as soil sampling, geo-mapping, and drone surveying within the area.
MMDF is providing $300,000 over three years to BWR Exploration for its Little Stull Lake Gold Project. Upon receiving the grant, the funds will be used directly to prepare Little Stull Lake for the arrival of the 2021 exploration crew. The approval of funds is conditional upon the completion of consultations with the community and the discussion of partnership opportunities with Manto Sipi Cree Nation.
BWR Exploration Inc. Awarded Grant From Manitoba Mineral Development Fund
Big Ridge Gold Corp. is completing an archaeological study for their Oxford Lake Project. The project is located MMDF is providing $50,000 towards this study.
MMDF is providing $115,000 to Thompson Community Development Corporation to support the development of an organization's business plan and to pursue income-generating projects within the organization to ensure long-term financial sustainability.
Marcel Colomb First Nation And Alamos Gold Inc. Launch A Land-Based Youth Development Project With The Support Of The Manitoba Mineral Development Fund
MMDF is providing $30,000 towards the project of Marcel Colomb First Nation, a partnership with Alamos Gold Inc, which involves youth in the community learning how to build a cabin and create a trail connecting Chepil Lake on the north side of Black Sturgeon Reserve.
Callinex Receives Grant From Manitoba Mineral Development Fund
MMDF is providing $300,000 to Callinex Mines Inc. to help with the expansion of their 2020/2021 drill program for the Pine Bay project located just 16 km from Flin Flon.
