Snow Lake Lithium Receives $158,000 Grant from MMDF to Support Continued Resource Expansion
MMDF is providing the Thompson Community Development Corporation $100,000 towards the Thompson Winter Weather Testing Centre of Excellence. The funds will be used for a feasibility study and business plan to establish a winter weather testing centre campus.
MMDF is providing Uptown Emporium $50,000 for the development of the ImagiNorthern Strategy. Uptown Emporium will use the funds to complete their data collection phase in order to sustainably implement their business model throughout the north.
MMDF is providing $84,172 to Community Futures North Central Development to install six (6) level 3 (L3) charging stations for electric vehicles on PTH 10 and PTH 6. This project is in partnership with Natural Resources Canada, CEDF, City of Thompson, Thompson Chamber of Commerce, Town of The Pas, and Misipawistik Cree Nation.
