MMDF is providing $23,820 towards completing an aerial geophysical survey at CanAlaska Uranium's Resting Lake property. The MMDF grant will be primarily used to complete the survey, with the remainder allocated to lodging.
MMDF is providing $83,250 to Arctic Gold Honey for a business expansion project aimed at increasing sales and distribution of raw honey as well as adding haskap berries to their product array.
MMDF has provided $50,000 to Marcel Colomb First Nation to develop a business plan & to investigate legal processes for transforming Lynn Lake Airport into an urban reserve and regional training center.
MMDF is providing $85,000 for Sayisi Dene First Nation to complete a feasibility study for a renewable energy project. This project involves adding a fixed solar array, microgrid, & battery storage to the site's existing diesel generator to reduce the burning of carbon-based fuels.
The MMDF is providing $46,000 towards new drone technology used for New Age Metal's exploration projects in southeastern Manitoba. This will allow exploration at Lithium Two, Lithium West, & Cat Lake Lithium to be done more efficiently.
MMDF is providing $300,000 towards Rockcliff Metals Corp. to advance their 2021 Snow Lake regional exploration program involving the Tower Property and Rail Property.
MMDF is providing $230,000 (highlight amount with a color) towards Wolfden Resources’ Rice Island Project located in the Snow Lake area. The Funds will go towards expanding the program & advancing exploration efforts at this site.
The MMDF is providing $300,000 (highlight amount with a color) to Wolfden Resources to conduct a drilling demonstration with Island Lakes Tribal Council. It will involve knowledge & capacity building in the community.
MMDF is contributing $300,000 towards the project led by Norway House Cree nation along with Rockcliff Metal Corp., Victory Nickel Inc., & Cyr Drilling International to purchase a mining camp for the purpose of renting the facilities & equipment to mineral exploration companies.
